1. HOW DID YOU ATTRACT/ADDRESS YOUR AUDIENCE?

Photographs The photographs that I took, edited in Photoshop and included in my production work attracted my audience by the interesting edits I had used for them to appear more attractive and the different camera shots I experimented with. The photographs also represented the rock genre by the use of make up, costume, hair and the colour scheme I had followed throughout my production work. 3. Colour Scheme The colour scheme I used throughout my production work was the 3 colours red, black and white. I had come to the conclusion that these colours most represented the rock genre and would then address fans of the rock genre and attract them to buying the magazine. Most rock magazines I found used a colour scheme that represented the rock genre and was used throughout the magazine to make it appear attractive. 4. Portrayed the rock genre? I portrayed the rock genre in the photographs I used, the codes and conventions I followed throughout my production work and the content and artists that I included in my magazine to attract an audience with a interest/love of rock music. 5. How does it look professional? I made my production work appear professional by using the expected codes and conventions of a rock genre based magazine. For example I used columns and page numbers for my content page, I used cover lines, barcode, price and date for my front cover and stand first, subheadings and quotes for my double page spread. 6. Masthead & Titles My masthead and titles that I used throughout my production work of my front cover, content page and double page spread attracted my target audience my the different rock styled fonts that I downloaded off the website Dafont.com and the colours I made them which matched my colour scheme of the three colours of red, white and black. 7. Overall.. I think I think I attracted my audience well as when planning my production work I made sure I had knowledge on what attracts an audience to a magazine and what makes it look professional and more important how to attract the target audience of rock fans. I addressed this by the codes and conventions I used and my rough sketches I drawn before I produced my production work.
