From looking into films that are of a similar theme and genre to the trailer I am going to create, I have decided to either use BBC Film or Film4 Productions as a lot of the films I have been inspired by or have researched are made by these production companies. Both of these institutions are British and produce British independent films. The films produced by these companies are then distributed by a larger company, such as universal.

BBC FILMS

“BBC Films is committed to finding and developing new talent, collaborating with some of the foremost writers and directors in the industry.”

It is firmly established at the forefront of British independent film-making and co-produces approximately eight films a year. Working in partnership with major international and UK distributors, BBC Films aims to make strong British films with range and ambition. 

They had previously produced films such as ‘Billy Elliot’, ‘Fish Tank’ and ‘Kicks’.

FILM4 PRODUCTIONS Film4 is Channel 4 Television’s feature film division that develops and co-finances films in the UK.

They’ve produced films such as ‘Slumdog Millionaire’, ‘Submarine’ and ‘Ex Machina’.
