HospitalityHospitalityHospitalityHospitality Throughout the year we will use this space to offer some
suggestions, some thoughts, some challenges to help us to
stay focused on our goal of hospitality.
“Let us treat others with the same passion and compassion
with which we want to be treated. Let us seek for others
the same possibilities which we seek for ourselves. Let us
help others to grow, as we would like to be helped our-
selves. In a word, if we want security, let us give security;
if we want life, let us give life; if we want opportunities, let
us provide opportunities. The yardstick we use for others
will be the yardstick which time will use for us.”
- Pope Francis, Address to Congress, Washington D.C.
This weekend, the Sunday Socials will be hosted by Boy Scout Troop 117 following the 9:00 & 10:45 am Masses in Hendricks Hall. Come and
socialize with fellow parishioners and enjoy coffee, bagels and donuts.

School News
Students in our Saint Brigid of Kildare Family of Disciples have spent this year "Bringing a Disciple to Mass." During selected weeks, students have invited a friend, neighbor, or family member to Mass. Our guests have joined our stu-dents at 8:15 a.m. in the classrooms and enjoyed starting the school day with us. Then our guests have walked to church with us and joined us for the celebration of the Mass. We have enjoyed having many disciples with us as we celebrate the Mass as a school family. BABY BOOTIE AND SOCK COLLECTION
SPONSORED BY
ST. BRIGID OF KILDARE RESPECT LIFE COMMITTEE
TO BENEFIT
THE CHRIST CHILD SOCIETY AND WOMEN’S CARE CENTER
SATURDAY AND SUNDAY, APRIL 9-10, 2016
Over 1,900 women a year receive a positive pregnancy test result at the Women’s Care Center in Columbus. Each expectant mother
is then presented with a gift bag containing information about the
many resources available to them as they journey forward in choos-
ing life for their baby. Included in this gift bag is a pair of baby
booties or a pair of baby socks. This gift is a physical reminder that a baby is pre-
sent and to encourage the mother to choose life for her growing child.
The Christ Child Society has been providing these socks/booties for
the Women’s Care Center and asks our help in collecting booties or
socks for this life affirming gesture.
A bassinet will be placed in Hendricks Hall to receive the donated items. Donations
will be accepted after all the Masses the weekend of April 9-10, 2016.
The Respect Life Committee and the Christ Child Society would like
to thank the members of St. Brigid of Kildare parish for their ongo-
ing support and commitment to this important mission. These moth-
ers are in need of our prayers as well as our material assistance as
they make this critical decision—choosing life for their babies!
For more information or to volunteer assistance, please call Mary
Jo Booker at 614-309-3807 or email at [email protected].
