against Turramurra 1 with the Juniors picking up our only win. The Seniors put in a fantastic effort, particularly in defence with some great tagging, to keep the scores even at half time. In the end Turramurra's speed of the mark was the difference and they won the game 6-4. Our Whites (2s) came up against Mt Colah P.S. Again, our sides put in a valiant effort, but couldn't match the speed and skill of their opponents. The Juniors lost 10-4 and the Seniors were beaten 11-4. Congratulations to all our players for the way they have conducted themselves on and off the field during the matches played so far. Could you please return your washed League Tag shirts ASAP. Thank you, Brad Keyes. PSSA T-BALL/SOFTBALL - Our girls headed off to the ‘Cliff Oval’ Wahroonga to play against Turramurra North P.S. in our final game for this part of the season. Our T-baller’s started off strong with 2 outs and 5 homes. Unfortunately, our next innings was not as solid which gave Turramurra North the opening they needed. Our girls did make a late come back, but were unfortunately not able to catch up and went down 10-5. Well done girls on a great start to the season. Player of the Match was Gretel for excellent batting. Our Softballer’s came out strong and were dominant in both the field and at bat. With another home run by Seiloni and confident pitching from Jenny, they were able to come away with a convincing 10-5 win. Player of the Match goes to Jenny. I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate both teams on the way in which they carry themselves and represent their school. Every week, I receive positive feedback from other staff members about your manners and sportsmanship. Thank you to the parents who assisted us in the last few weeks with driving. The season has now finished and will recommence in Term 3. Thank you, Fiona Gleeson. P & C NEWS - Please join us on Facebook to keep up-to-date on all matters P&C. Thanks, Michael Howard. PSSA LEAGUE TAG - Last Friday was round 4 of PSSA League Tag and the last of the Summer competition until it recommences in Term 3.
