This is a first hand review of the recently inaugurated Parx’s restaurant in Jumeirah, which has already earned its name due to the finest tom yum soup in Dubai.

Located along the Jumeirah Beach, Prax’s is a relatively new restaurant but has already created quite an impression for itself. This is no small thing, since its competition is with some of the finest eateries in Dubai, but the restaurant was up for the challenge.

The “Hot on taste, big on flavor” board is hard to miss when you’re going past the Jumeirah Beach Road. The size of the eatery might be relatively small, but the sheer appeal it has to the passersby makes it one of the most popular destinations for those craving the rich authentic Asian flavors.

Ambience – Prax’s offers an amazing ambience to the public, even in a restricted space. The view of the ocean and some of the finest Arab architecture, along with that of the life of one of the classiest areas of Dubai makes this place a really pleasant place to dine.

Service – The service offered by this restaurant is truly commendable. The waiters are prompt diners but also for the orders for delivery.

I had once placed an order of online delivery of prawn har gow among other things and I was truly surprised as to how quick they were with their delivery services.

Hygiene – The concern for hygiene can be easily thrown out of the window when choosing this restaurant. They guarantee hygiene to such an extent that their kitchen is within a glass chamber for the customers to see exactly how their meal is being cooked. This is one of the cleanest places to eat in the city, which is one of the reasons why they have customers lining up outside their doors day after day even though the place only opened pretty recently.

Food – It has rightly been said, “it is always nice to have a cherry on the top, but it is always the cake that matters in the end.”

In this case also, the ambiance and the quality of service of this restaurant wouldn’t have mattered if the food was not up to the mark. Fortunately, the chefs here make sure that doesn’t happen.

This place is especially famous for the wide variety of starters it provides. This includes one of the best cucumber salad in Jumeirah, the best known Dim sums in Jumeirah TECOM and the undisputedly best tom yum soup in Dubai.
