Message from Margaret...

Margaret Martin has been with the department for 4 years and runs the front office at the Rec Center.

Chances are, if you’ve called, stopped in, or received any email from the Parks and Rec, you know Maggie!

Maggie is a local gal living in San Bruno with her husband Dave, and has a talent for decorating the Rec

Center and baking up a storm!

When not running around with her grandchildren or family, Maggie enjoys the Theatre and her work

fundraising with non-profit agencies close to her heart.

We are very lucky to have her!

Director of the Parks and Recreation Department Happy Fall Burlingame!

The Parks and Recreation Department is excited to be offering some new programs and events this season.

Here’s a snapshot of what you’ll see this Fall!

*The Conceptual Plan presentation for the NEW Recreation Center will be coming to the Planning Commission and City Council! For more information, visit the City website and click Community Center Conceptual Plan at the bottom of the page.

*The Dog Park Task Force is looking into adding additional off-leash areas on the west side of 101. Stay tuned!

*Throwback Thursday Movie Series will begin in September. We are looking forward to revisiting some oldies, but goodies! Check out the ad on page 2.

*The Parks division has been working diligently to help conserve water throughout Burlingame. We appreciate all the support!

Enjoy the 2015-2016 School year! Cheers, Margaret

Maggie Martin
