Government Order No. 62 -PW (Hyd) of 2015 Dated: - 25 -02-2015 As recommended by J&K Services Selection Board, sanction is hereby accorded to the temporary appointment of 164 candidates as indicated in the Annexures A&B to this Government Order as Junior Engineers (Civil), State Cadre, in the pay band of Rs. 9300-34800 with Grade pay of Rs. 4200/- The appointees shall be on probation for a period of two years and shall be allowed to join only on pro- duction of the following certificates/ documents in original:- i. Educational qualification/ Technical qualification like degree/diploma issued by a recognized Institute /University eligible for employment in J&K ii. Date of Birth Certificate (Secondary School Examination Certificate /Matriculation Certificate). iii. Permanent Resident Certificate. iv. Health Certificate issued by an Officer of the State Health Department not below the rank of Chief Medical Officer. v. Character and Antecedents Certificates issued by the Competent Authority/State CID Department. vi. Certificate from concerned Competent Authority to the effect whether the candidate has availed any loan under any State Self Employment Scheme. vii. Reserved Category certificate issued by the Competent Authority, wherever required. Further, the above appointments are provisional and subject to the following conditions:- a) Each appointee shall give an undertaking in the shape of an Affidavit that in case any adverse report about his/her character and antecedents is received from the IG CID /CID Department J&K to whom reference shall be made by the authority to whom they shall submit their joining report or any other adverse report about their qualification, the candidate shall have no right to claim his/her appointment as Junior Engineer (Civil) and his/her appointment as such shall be deemed to be void-ab-initio and cancelled as such. b) Salary of these appointees shall not be drawn and disbursed to them unless satisfactory character and antecedents report is received from the IG, CID and verification of genuineness of their qualifica- tion/ category and any other certificates is received from the concerned authorities. Consequent upon their appointment these candidates shall report to their Heads of Departments (HODs) namely Chief Engineer, PHE Department, Kashmir, Chief Engineer, Irrigation and Flood Control Department Jammu, Chief Engineer Irrigation and Flood Control Department Kashmir and Chief Engineer, Ravi Tawi Irrigation Canal (RTIC), Jammu as per the annexures A&B to this Order for their further adjustment within 21 days from the date of issuance of this order. If any candidate fails to do so, his/her appointment shall be treated as cancelled ab-initio. Further all the HODs shall adjust the candidates who have been appointed under Resident of Backward Area (RBA)/ Areas adjoining Actual Line of Control (ALC) Category in their respective Backward Area /Areas adjoining Actual Line of Control as the case may be in terms of Section 3 (2) of Jammu and Kashmir Reservation Act, 2004, as amended from time to time.
