Subject: Compassionate leave

Respected Madam,

I am writing this letter to request for compassionate leave for the purpose of completing my Idat

period for three months (till 02-Nov-2015). As I want to give this religious ritual my utmost priority

and effort.

I really apologize for the inconvenience that will be caused to the organization due to this unplanned

urgent leave but I hope that you’ll also understand my situation. I assure you that I’ll compensate my

absence by working at home which includes helping out in checking of papers and copies, making

sample copies and preparing examination papers.

I am really grateful to you and hope that you’ll cooperate with me by assigning this urgent

compassionate leave.
