In honor of HPD, the Argosy University Histotechnology Program organized an exciting day.

Students were divided into teams and created team names:

The Cuboidals The Slicers The Dicers The Coverslipping Slangers The Serial Slicers

2nd Place Winner for 2011 HPD Contest sponsored by NSH

Teams then competed different contest: Coverslipping relay The longest ribbon contest The stack the embedding molds challenge

Students also participated in individual events including One-handed coverslipping Guess the stain

Extra credit prize tickets were awarded to the winners. A good time was had by all. We look forward to next year’s celebration with a new group of future histology professionals.
