THURSDAYArab SocEnter ''bab il hara'. An Arabian

Market place inspired by Aladdin

with fruits, dried seed and brace-

lets on display. For entertainment

purposes there will be a fortune

teller and a henna lady that can draw

on people's hands free of charge.

"Have Faith in Food"

It's an event centred on diets of people of

different faiths from all over the world..

Each volunteer from a different faith will

be partnered with a student attendee and

they will plan a theoretical evening menu

together. This will encourage discussion

around the reasons for different diets ac-

cording to faith and nationality, and also

forge new relationships. The students will

also receive a packed lunch appropriate

for a faith (Sikh, Jewish, or Muslim) which

will hopefully also spark discussion. The

packed lunch will be made by the Cook-

ing society, which will also provide an op-

portunity for them to learn about different

cuisine.
