The renovating window PVC profile is so designed that it can be installed onold wooden window frames.This solution is typically used in historic buildings and in every other casewhere avoiding damage to the building faade is of prime importance.

If installed on the old window, the previous sashes must be removed togetherwith hinges and other hardware components that could hinder the installation

of a new window. The renovating window frame is applied onto the oldwooden frame in such a way that the extended sealing strip is on the innerside of the room. A masking profile is fitted outside, selected mainly to matchthe thickness of the wooden frame on which a new frame is mounted and themethod of installation. The renovating window frame is combined with anormal KBE Modern and Modern + window sash.

The following windows can be fitted using the renovating window frame: fixedsash, single sash, multiple sash with floating mullion and multiple sash withfixed mechanically mounted mullion.We can also produce a low aluminium threshold porch with double-sidedhandle.

Highest quality air-valves vents are used to provide adequate airventilation when the windows are tightly closed.

Humidity controlled air-valves - an automatically controlled devicewith a sensor (polyamide strip), which detects relative humidityfluctuations in the room and opens or closes the vent.Relative humidity, among others, depends on the level of air pollutionresulting from breathing, sweating, washing, cooking, drying, etc.The higher the relative humidity, the wider is the air-valve openingand a greater intake of air into the room. Air-valves react to changesin relative humidity from 30 to 70%.

A properly operating air-valve provides a specified minimum air flowfor relative humidity up to 30%. In the 30-70% range, air flow issteadily increasing, and above 70%, the maximum air flow isreached for the product.Humidity controlled air-valves do not require any user maintenance,however in most cases they can be locked at the minimum air flow

position.

We use reliable envelope hardware in our windows, manufactured bythe German-based company ROTO NT. The hardware presses thesash tightly to the frame so that the window is tight and protects againstwater and wind.

Roto NT - tilt, open and close:

Tilt and turn windows are the most widespread in Europe. Using the tiltand turn technique the window sashes can be opened and closedeffortlessly with just one handle. One of the most popular tilt and turnsystems worldwide is the Roto NT brand.

Anti-mishandling device - the integration of anti-mishandling lock andsash lift in one device. The integrated sash lift enables sliding of thesash onto the frame always at the same level, which prevents the sashfrom dropping on the handle side. Anti-mishandling device lockprevents incorrect window operation. All this guarantees the safety ofuse and hardware durability.

Multi-step tilt at the espagnolette is one of a series of features that allowthe window to be set in the desired ventilation position (up to 3 positions).It is sufficient to properly fit an element on the adapted espagnolette,which will lock one of the ventilation settings in the tilted sash in thecorrect handle position (approximately 25 from the vertical position).Multi-step tilt is extremely simple and easy to install, and therefore arelatively inexpensive solution.

Pull handle and latch for the French patio doors makes it possible toclose the door securely when going outside. Gently push the door

inward to return indoor from the patio or porch. While relaxing on thepatio you do not expose the apartment to draft and pounding on thedoor frame - that's the power of smart design.

Handle-controlled brake: Open window sash can be securely lockedinto the desired position with one hand, by turning the handle 45downward. This is the solution for all those who want to get some freshair in without worrying that a sudden gust of wind will slam the window.
