A MOMENT AND ETERNITY

The architecture of Saint Simeon, inspired by the medieval serbian culture and tradition, has demanded the implementation of noblest buildings materials: wood, stone and wrought iron.

SIBERIAN LARCH

This extremely high-quality wood, the first time in construction in this area, applied for the cladding, 50 mm thick, and making shingles for roofing “Villa Jaram“.

STONE AND WROUGHT IRON

Our quarry have always been known for its ideal sand-stone that science is known as, belovodski sandstone. They are distinguished by the large amount of quary, exelent resistance to abrasion, and their colors are in range from cool white over beige and yellow, till dark red and brown shades. Many medevial monasteires and churches were built of this stone, and some of them withstood the ravages of time and wars, such as Ravanica, Kalenic, Manasija, etc.

Suckle, retaining walls and roofs of“Jaram Villas” are covered with these precious stones. Along with traditional, hand-made decorations of wrought iron, always a relevant, enchiring enviroment “Jaram villas”. Stone and hand-wrought iron does not become obsolate, but will withstand time and trends change, creating a new aesthetic tradition.

Kopaonik is the biggest ski center in Serbia and one of the most beautiful on Balcan. The mountain with more than 200 suny days in a year and around 160 days under the snowy covering.
