Target Audience - Exödus

Genre

• The EDM genre is commonly recognised for targeting young adults and teenagers. This is because the genre has close links with clubbing and DJ’s and these tend to be mostly attended by the 18-30 age range. Although of this some children under 18 listen to EDM with the emergence of artists such as Avicii, Martin Garrix and Skrillex.

The artist

• Exödus is aged 25. The target audience for EDM tend to be around 15-25 so EDM fans should be able to relate to Exödus due to his age. He has a chilled out manner which many EDM fans around that age would relate to. He, like many EDM artists, started playing in nightclubs and DJing.

The music video

• The idea that the music video will only have lego characters and will feature no humans in is a fresh and original idea. This is appreciated to a young and innovative age range thus the target audience would be very suitable.
