FROM THE PASTOR Dear Parishioners, Today at the 10:00am Mass we have the Women’s ACTS Team Commissioning Mass. Please keep them in your prayers as they prepare for our first Women’s Retreat which will be September 28th -October 1st at the ABC Center in Richard. We will let you know when registraon will be available. Seminarian Ben Pitre has joined us for a lile over a month this summer. He is from St. Landry Church in Opelousas, and is studying in Rome at the North American College. He will be helping out in the office and in liturgies. Our first Masses in the gym went well. You are welcome to bring cushions to sit on. Confessions will be heard in the high school chapel confessional at the regular mes. Bathrooms and water fountains are in the foyer hallway for those who need. Please allow the elderly to sit in the chairs set up on the gym floor. Handicapped parking will be in the front of the Commons area on the Main Street side. Please keep that area open for handicap parking and do not block the wide sidewalk in between the orange cones. Anyone is welcome to enter through the commons area doors to get to the gym. Our monthly holy hour in church will be canceled during renovaons. Please connue to get us your envelopes and donaons so that we can connue to pay our bills. Please don’t abandon us in our me of need. A prayer partner for these adorers would enable them to depend on each other and allow more flexibility with their schedule. A mother was teaching her four-year–old daughter the Lord’s Prayer. For several evenings at bedme the lile girl repeated it aſter her mother. One night the girl said she was finally ready to go it solo. The mother listened with pride as she carefully enunciated each word right up to the end. “Lead us not into temptaon,” the lile girl prayed, “and deliver us some email, Amen.” Fr.
