~ REFLECTION ~
In today’s Gospel parable, we see a foreshadowing
of Jesus’ rejection and death in the story of the
vineyard’s tenants. Jesus’ parable might also be
addressed to us. We must look for the ways in
which we resemble the tenants who rejected the
landowner, the landowner himself, and his son. Let
us pray for enlightenment as we listen to God’s
word today, and for the wisdom and courage to act
according to what we hear.
~ REFLEXION ~
Question of the Week:
Does the “peace of God that surpasses all
understanding” describe the life that pulses through my
heart these days? In other words, where do I recognize
myself in today’s parable?
actualmente? En otras palabras, ¿en qué parte o en qué
personajes de la parábola me reconozco yo?

Child Protection Certification
Course: Please note that ALL
ministry members must complete the
Child Protection Certification Course
to participate in any activities
involving the youth of the Parish.
Learn to stop inappropriate activity before it happens Teach your child to respect the word “stop!” Teach your preschooler that “stop” means “stop,” and that your child has the right to stop people from touching his or her body. Obviously, exceptions will have to be made for doctors and parents, but even parents must listen when a child doesn’t want to be tickled or hugged anymore. Reinforcing this excellent lesson gives your child the power to recognize -- and to stop -- “bad touching” by others if it should happen.

CHURCH BATHROOM RENOVATION PROJECT
Our physical space here, at St. Brigid, is in need of either renovation or replacement. We have not
consistently addressed these issues in the past. Parish Life is important to each and every parishioner,
visitor and guest. We want our “church home” to be inviting, welcoming, comfortable and attractive. St.
Brigid Church is “ours”, it belongs to each of us, not just the clergy staff. We must take pride in
ownership and work together to be successful in the planning and execution of all projects. Please review
the plans for the bathroom renovation and prayerfully consider what YOU can contribute to the effort.
