Arts EnrichmentCreative Movement Have fun learning the basics of dance. In this creative dance-based class we will work on rhythm, coordination, flexibility, self expression and confidence.

Messy Masterpieces Pre-schoolers will enjoy the parent/child class exploring through this messy art class! Your little artist will use different colors, textures, paint brushes, and mediums to make a new masterpiece to take home each week!

Once Upon A Story Join us for this imaginative class based on your pre-schooler's favorite books! Children will create projects based on their favorite stories and will even have the chance to perform their favorite parts!

Tiny Toes Ballet: Join the laughter and fun as your little ones little toes develop by exploring movement, song and dance. We will introduce ballet basics, rhythm and the initial concept of poise.

Zumbini: The new Zumbini™ program is where the science of child development meets the magic of Zumba®! Designed for children 0 to 3 years old and their caregivers, this program takes little ones on their first steps toward a healthy, active life. Together, adults and their young children wiggle, sing, and learn, for the ultimate bonding experience!

Family ProgrammingBirthday Party: With five different fun birthday party packages, the Lake View YMCA is a great place to host your child's next birthday party! Choose from Sports of all Sorts, Zany Zoo, Princess, Pirate or Super Hero Theme. Please contact Lily Smith, Birthday Party Coordinator, at 773.248.3333 ext. 2995 or via e-mail at csmithrichards@ymcachicago.org with inquiries.

All Parties Include:

• A personalized birthday cake (from Dinkel's Bakery) and juice boxes for each child invited

• Party for up to 20 children; $5 each additional child. Maximum 25 child guests.

• 90 minutes of Birthday Fun!

Y Kid's Zone: The perfect place for kids to play while parents work out or enjoy a little "me-time!" Children ages 6 wks. - 8 years use their imagination and creativity in the space designed by Chicago Children's Museum. Lake View YMCA Family Memberships receive 10 FREE hours per month... a $40 value! Pick up your monthly Y Kid's Zone card at the Member Service Desk.

Sports & RecreationLittle Stars Soccer: Children will learn kicking, dribbling and shooting skills while learning to be a team player and improving coordination and motor skills. Coaches will emphasize teamwork and sportsmanship.

Pre-school Soccer: Get your preschooler off on the right foot. Bring them to the Y to learn basic soccer skills including kicking, passing, dribbling and shooting goals.

Tiny Tot Tumbling: Parents, join your child or children in a fun-filled variety of activities that develop motor and listening skills. This introductory class features tumbling, climbing, jumping and more. A fun experience for everyone!
