Men's Book Study – Nov 27 The second meeting will be Tuesday, Nov. 27, at 6:30 am, the regular time, before resuming a weekly schedule on Mondays. Living Stewardship Today’s second reading reminds us that the sacrifice of Christ frees us from sin and makes us a royal nation of

priests in the service of God. How am I using my gifts to serve God and others?

RCIA Classes Thursdays -7 pm St. John's RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults) classes are at 7 pm Thursdays for about 20 weeks to prepare candidates to enter the Church during the Easter Vigil Liturgy. If Thursdays do not work for you, please contact Fr. Richter. Youth Advent Eucharistic Adoration Who: All middle and High school Students (7th-12th Grade) are invited. Food For the Poor - Nov 24/25 Rev. Michael J. Goodavish of the Diocese of St. George in Grenada will speak at all the Masses on the Nov. 24/25 weekend about this ministry that provides relief to the poor throughout Latin America and the Caribbean. Fr. Goodavish, who was ordained in 1987, will share personal witness about Food for the Poor’s mission to care for the destitute as a means of living out the Gospel mandate to love one another.

Accompanist Needed We need an accompanist for the 10:30 Mass on Sun-

Jesus with no hands During a World War II bombing raid, a French (or German) village lost a beloved statue of Christ. The villagers painstakingly sifted through the rubble and managed to rebuild the statue, except for its hands. They searched and searched, but the pieces were never found. Finally, the villagers placed a plaque on the statue with the inscription from St. Teresa of Avila: I have no hands but yours.
