2. Untimely death of John K. BorchardWe recently learned of the death ofJohn K. Borchard at the ACS Lead-ership Conference in Fort Worth,Texas, in January. John was afriend to many members of SCHB.He had written an article for thisissue of Small Chem Biz: TheACS Committee on Patentsand Related Matters (See page4) Mukund Chorghade, past chair SCHB, on a Bat Mobile with a Ger- man supermodel in Raleigh North Carolina, in November, during theJohn Borchardt operated his own SERMACS meeting.
