•  Keeping the performers and animals on a schedule.

•  Must be able to communicate with animals as well as performers and interpret their needs despite language barriers.

•  Must provide entertainment for performers and training for animal talent. 

•  Must be able to withstand the large amounts of alcohol it takes to manage all circus performers and animal talent.
