How did you come up with the name of

the album? I felt like Id had tape over my

mouth for a while. Once I ripped it off, emo-

tions came pouring out of me in rapid re.

Were you worried any songs might be too

controversial? Borrowed was one of the rst songs I wrote on this album [the song is about Rimess extramarital affair with

her now husband, actor Eddie Cibrian, 40]. I was terri ed writing it. I was bawling and thinking, I cant say this. My writing partners encouraged me to be honest, and once I wrote it, nothing was off-limits.So, much of your inspiration comes from

your own life? Yeah. I used to get mad at the tabloids, but I should be thanking them because they helped me write this whole record. Im also a horrible friend because I use my pals experiences for songs. Theyll call me for advice, and Ill be like, Hold on. I need to grab a pen! Whats your idea of the perfect weekend?

Hopping on Eddies Harley and riding on the Paci c Coast Highway along the beach with him. Its the best!
