Document Evidence: Your documented evidence is like a diary. You start it when you first start making your design and it doesn't end till you have finished making your product. Takes lots of photos, make notes on any modification and add sketches and diagrams.

Introduction/Design Brief

My client is my current school, Sinarmas World Academy (SWA). It needs a new logo for the design cycle, areas of interaction (AOI) and the IB learner profile. I will need to create 5 designs for the design cycle or areas of interaction and 10 designs for the IB learner profile. At the deadline, the school will choose the best logos and will use them as the official designs which will be used during the whole year.

I will only have 5 weeks to finish this project:

1 week for Investigation stage

2 weeks for Design stage (15 designs to do) and Plan stage

1 week for Create stage

1 week for Evaluation stage

During this project, I really have to manage my time carefully, since only 5 weeks is allowed. I will have a make a specification table and evaluate the designs I come up in the design stage with that table.

Summary of Researches (Softwares)

I researched about three different ways to create a logo. The cost isn’t a problem since they’re all free. The problem is that I really don’t know how to use ‘picture design’ softwares such as Photoshop, so either I have to find another way to create logos (for example: by drawing it than scan) or I have to watch tutorials or ask my friends to get better with it.

Summary of Researches (Logos)

The three logos I have researched all have a common point: they are all very original, containing each one a hidden symbol or meaning. The logos I will design got to have something original, interesting or even a hidden symbol or meaning like the three logos, but it will be difficult. However, a case study of the three logos I’ve chosen gave me some ideas about my future logos.

1. For me, it could be presented to something like a ship, in the ship containing the 5 designs cycles.

2. I think it is just fine. I don’t have comments about that logo, it is somehow a bit simple, but not boring.

3. It should be eye-catching, original, with light and attractive colors.

I will choose one or two softwares from the researches and use them.

Aesthetics It should be colorful, eye-catching, original, etc...
