The Metamorphosis (1912) is Kafkas most important short stories, his masterpiece. The Trial (1925) is one of Kafkas most successful novel, it was published one year after his death.The Castle is Kafkas final novel, he died before he had the opportunity to complete the story.Kafka also had his diaries where he wrote about his ideas and made notes about his tormented life.
