Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) intends to foray into Indian Civil Aviation Sector by its Civii version of Do-228 aircraft. The aircraft needs to be deployed on regional routes to enhance regional air connectivity within the country as envisaged by Ministry of Civil Aviation through its flagship programme- "Udey Desh ka Aam Nagrik (UDAN)". HAL has manufactured two Do-228 Civil version with DGCA certification that are ready to be deployed by the scheduled airline operators.

To sufficiently reach its potential customers in the domestic market, HAL Do-228 Civil version requires availability of interested and eligible pilots/co-pilots with Do-228 endorsement of their license. HAL seeks interest of pilots/co-pilots (10 PIC and 10 Co-pifot) who can be engaged for possible employment by the regional operators. The QR for desired pilots/ co- pilots is attached at A n n e x u r e - /. HAL is also willing to facilitate the requisite trainings and certification for prospective pilots/co- pilots for Dornier operations, if required.

T h e J o b :

The job mainly involves line flying DO-228 aircraft in Indian civil aviation sector with an Indian operator.

T h e R e s p o n s i b i l i t y :

• Should have sound operational and technical knowledge of Do-228 aircraft. He should possess a current and valid ATPL (Do-228 endorsement is preferred).

• Should be familiar with Civil Airworthiness requirements of Aircraft. • Should be willing to proactively obtain additional qualifications with respect to civil

aviation. • Should have sound conceptual and analytical abilities for ensuring effective decision

- making. • Should have good communication/presentations skills. • Should be able to focus on timely project implementation and image building

process of the Company.

T h e P e r s o n :

The candidate should have more than 1500 hrs of total flying experience, of which a minimum of 1000 hrs should be on Do-228 aircraft. Candidates should possess a current and valid ATPL.

Candidates with DO-228 endorsement, recency in Do-228 flying (should have flown the a/c as PIC in preceding 90 days) and Qualified Flying Instructors will be preferred and given additional weightage.

The candidate should have more than 200 hrs of total flying experience and should possess a current and valid CPL. Candidates with Do-228 endorsement in their CPL and recency in Do-228 flying (should have flown the a/c in preceding 90 days) will be preferred and given additional weightage.
