HOME GIFT BOX MEDIA PACK
In 2013 Ben Michael relocated to the UAE. It took him some time to get adjusted to his new home and neighborhood. He didn’t know where to buy his groceries, what cable provider to subscribe to, which gym to join, nor which bank to bank with. He didn’t know whether he should buy a car or rent a car. His favorite brand of coffee was no longer available to him and he was reluctant to purchase an unfamiliar one. He didn’t want to waste time and money to possibly make the wrong decision while hoping to get lucky and discover something new and better. He looked through blogs and expat forums, but to his dismay, they were all outdated and often full of useless information. His family wanted to send him a care package of his favorite snacks, men’s grooming products, and coffee, but unfortunately he didn’t have a mail box and hadn’t setup a PO Box as of yet. When he finally did, his mail never arrived.

Ben realized there were a number of problems troubling recent expats as well as brands. Brands didn’t have direct access to a rapidly growing consumer base, and recent expats were unfamiliar of local rules & regulations, and goods & services available to them attheir time of entry. The average expat stays in the UAE for 3-5 years and changes homes within the first 14-18 months. If only he had a trusted friend to give him some good advice, point him in the right direction, and introduce him to the right brands at the right time.

• TIMING - Getting in front of the consumer within the first month of arrival into their new home. This is a very vulnerable time when a consumer is inclined to buy into the brands that are offering deals, vouchers, samples, and subscription packages.
• RESIDENT LIFE CYCLE - We know how long a resident will be living in a home and can target sms campaigns effectively. (We do not talk to tourists, only people that are in dubai for a minimum of 12 months)
