ARANER TES
TES The THERMAL ENERGY STORAGE (TES) tank is a naturally
stratified thermal accumulator that allows the storage of chilled
water produced during off-peak periods. A TES tank reduces the
operational cost and the required capacity of cooling plants,
increasing the efficiency of the cooling plant and reducing the
capital cost.
The Stratified Thermal Energy Storage (TES) tank is a widely
proven technology that collects excess process thermal energy to
be used during load peak hours. By producing chilled water in the
evening and using it during daily peak hours there are several
advantages.
ARANER SOLUTIONS - TES
ARANER TIAC
TIAC Gas Turbine Inlet Air Cooling your turbine-based power plant will
enhance its capacity by up to 30 % by cooling down the turbine
intake air. This technology is perfect for hot climates with high
ambient temperatures that usually coincide with on-peak hours of
demand.
Maximize the turbine output and improve the energy efficiency of
your gas turbines engines during hot weather with gas turbine
inlet cooling.
ARANER TES TIAC
Combination of TIAC technology with TES improvement
Collects excess process thermal energy to be used during load peak
hours.
ARANER DISTRICT COOLING AND HEATING
At a central plant, District Energy Systems produce steam, hot water and/or chilled
water. The steam, hot water and/or chilled water is then piped underground to
individual buildings for space heating, domestic hot water heating and air conditioning.
In conclusion, private buildings served by a district energy system don’t need their own
boilers or furnaces, chillers or air conditioners. The district cooling system provides
important benefits including: improved energy efficiency, environmental protection,
flexibility, Ease of operation and maintenance , reliability & others.

MAIN DIFFERENCES IN AN INTERNATIONAL PROJECT
50Hz to 60Hz
DIFFERENCES IN AN INTERNATIONAL PROJECT
Geographical: Transportation, Logistics, time zone.
Language: English
Comunications: Internal, External and Restrictions.
Planification and reaction
Weather: Condiciones Previsibles e Imprevisibles
Local bussiness culture: local sales and supply
Different legal framework
Codes, units, etc.
• Cultural environment => CRITICAL POINT
Diferent “engineering company” in the international environment:
Greater importance to the engineer
Specialized engineer but with global visión of the system and the market
International Standards and Codes
More planification and distrust

MIDDLE EAST CULTURE Today 05/05/1438, we will speak about Middle East.
The Middle East is a mixture of cultures, a world of
histories, a whirlwind of customs and traditions.
The Middle East is the cradle of the world's three
largest religions: Judaism, Christianity and Islam.
Traditions are very similar in different countries, it’s
mostly resultant from Islam religion.
In the following slides we will focus on the common
culture of life in Arab countries, which are specially
given in Saudi Arabia - considered the most
conservative for European.
Other countries, like Jordan, are much softer and
simpler, we will compare as we go.
MIDDLE EAST CULTURE When in Saudi Arabia you should respect their culture
and dress codes. Women have to cover up in an Abaya, Men can have
their normal dress be careful shorts above knees are not welcomed.
Women are not allowed to drive. Mutawa the religious police. They wear brown gowns
and usually walk with sticks. They are more strict in Riyadh.
If you meet a friend do not give her a hug or a kiss on the street, women are not allowed to do that and could get you into trouble.
It is common to give kiss for a men. Saudi People like to eat with their hands, however it is
normal to use forks, preferable if with Saudi to eat with your right hand always.
MIDDLE EAST CULTURE When passing thru entrance always preferable to give the way for the person on right side
except if he is senior in age or position. Do not bring magazines with light dressed women to customs or movies. Do not wear necklaces with a cross or things from the Christian religion. If you have it on
then put it under your shirt they don't like it. Do not bring alcohol with you, it is totally forbidden in Saudi & most of gulf countries. Do not make relation with local ladies, this will always end with trouble. Most of expatriates lives in gated communities, only here you are allowed to live like in
Europe. Restaurants have male section separated from family section. Finally, living in Saudi, you will make free of tax income and save most of your salary
PROJECT MANAGEMENT PROCESS Initiating Process Group:
Defines and authorizes the project or a project phase. Planning Process Group:
Defines and refines objectives, and plans the course of action required to attain the objectives and scope that the project was undertaken to address. Executing Process Group:
Integrates people and other resources to carry out the project management plan for the project. Monitoring and Controlling Process Group:
Regularly measures and monitors progress to identify variances from the project management plan so that corrective action can be taken when necessary to meet project objectives. Closing Process Group:
Formalizes acceptance of the works and brings the project or a project phase to an orderly end.
