Web 2.0 (few definitions)

The second generation of the World Wide Web, especially the movement away from static webpages to dynamic and shareable content (en.wiktionary.org/wiki/Web_2.0 )

A term used to describe a new generation of Web services and applications with an increasing emphasis on human collaboration (ww.headland.co.uk/pages/glossary)

Web 2.0 (or Web 2) is the popular term for advanced Internet technology and applications including blogs, wikis, RSS and social bookmarking (www.informit.com/guides/content.aspx)

Benefits

Socialisation: motivated, stimulated and sometimes provoked to reveal their own ideas

Relaxed, and at the same time, efficient group collaboration

Grading facilities of Moodle Students and the teachers were always in line

with the newest events related to the course Impossibility to cheat and to fake personal

outcomes

Prerequisites: constant availability of the server, impeccable Internet connection, and a permanently high scalability

Exhausting for the students Social software in education was a treat to
