Game NotesLast Time Out: Elmira enters today’s ECAC West Con-ference matchup with a 13-1-1 overall record after picking up a crucial 4-2 non-conference victory on the road against Williams College. Second-year talent Anna Tude ’17 broke a 2-2 tie by scoring her third goal of the season with less than eight minutes remaining in the third period, a goal that would hold up as the game-winner.

Delainey Dazzles: In Elmira’s win over Williams, Cassidy Delainey ’15 scored her eighth power-play goal of the sea-son, putting her in a two-way tie for the national lead. Tied with Delainey is St. Scholastica’s Nina Waidacher, who has scored eight power-play goals in 16 games compared to the 14 Delainey has played this season.

Welcome to the Club Hogie: Ashton Hogan ’15 scored a pair of goals in Elmira’s last game against Williams, increas-ing her career point total to 101 and making Hogan the newest member of EC’s 100-Point Club. Hogan becomes the second Elmira player to accomplish this feat in 2014-15 as teammate Ashley Ryan ’15 notched her 100th career point earlier this season in a 10-2 win over SUNY Cortland

Looking Ahead: The Purple and Gold complete their sea-son series with Chatham University tomorrow, January 25th when Elmira hosts the Cougars for a 3:00 p.m. game.

Game NotesLast Time Out: The Cougars of Chatham University dropped to 7-8 overall and 2-6 in ECAC West play after dropping their two-game series at Oswego State last week-end. Chatham surrendered two third-period goals to fall in game one, 2-0. Then, in game two, Oswego broke a 1-1 tie midway through the second period and held off the Cou-gars to complete the weekend sweep.

Offensive Leaders: The Cougars have two players, Erika Martin ’17 and Erika Bronk ’16, with double-digit points on the season. Martin has tallied 11 points on a team-high eight goals and three assists, while Bronk has 10 points on two goals and a team-high eight assists.

Top-10 in Shutouts: The Cougars have three shutouts in 2014-15 and all have been posted by senior goaltender Me-gan Buchanan ’15. Buchanan’s three shutouts places her in an eight-way tie for second place nationally in shutouts.

Series History: Chatham is one of six institutions that EC has played at least 10 times in their history but never lost to. The Soaring Eagles have defeated the Cougars 24 times since the 2002-03 season, with 18 of those wins coming in the form of shutouts.
