1. Use re-usable glass bottles 2. Close or switch off the fume hood. 3. Find out if there are greener alternatives to the reagents you use. 4. Buy service contracts for your equipment. 5. Recycle. 6. Donate surplus equipment. 7. Label lab equipment that can’t be turned off. 8. Use non-mercury thermometers. 9. Keep an up-to-date inventory. 10. Order only the amount that you need.
