Beach Pub Crawl while the Tribe was parading in Navarre! Ty & Debbie and Steve

& Carla did an awesome job with the scavenger hunt during our pub crawl – lots

of fun and drinks! They enjoyed meeting the tribe when they returned to the

Shaker – I think that was an eye opening experience, LOL! What an awesome

weekend for parading! The Beavers got their first taste of Mayokis and they are

Thirsty for more! Mardi Gras was awesome and the Beavers are ready to Drink,

Dance and Throw More $hit! We have so many people to Thank! Thanks to all

that came out to paint the court and made them look awesome! Thanks to the

“Beaver Liquors” who kept us hydrated for both parades! Special thanks to Kevin

& Dusti Sluder for feeding us on Saturday and Jerry & Janice Clark for hosting our

Get Right on Sunday! To the Cowens for opening your home to the tribe, again!

Doug and Kim Franklin for helping us set up for Saturday at Elebash’s and for

“corralling” the Beavers! David and Lori Cornwell, thanks for all your help on Sat-

urday! Huge thank you to the entire Board, we truly appreciate each of you and

know how much work goes into making this all happen! Last but not least, we

want to thank our court for being rock stars the entire weekend! You made us

Wow, what an amazing Mardi Gras! Thank you to everyone who partici-pated and thank you to the entire Board for all the hard work they put into both parades. The weather was just the icing on the cake. We had so many new court members compliment the board and the entire tribe on how well they were being treated and how much fun they are having. To that, I hope all this participation keeps up because we have so many more fun times and parties ahead. Our next Board meeting is Monday, March 13th, Theme Party is March 18th and Get Acquainted is on April 8. We hope all can make it either by car, bike, stranger, cab, bus, pickup truck, lil rascal, and/or shopping

cart. This should be eventful and a good time. I don’t normally condone dressing up after Halloween

BUT it is coming up again in less than 8 months so I think it should be ok.

Two Weeks after a good spam and potted meat roast we have the "GET ACQUAINTED", April 8th, AKA

FINAL BLOW OUT BASH FOR THE THORSEN'S HOME!!! This will be a great event to come out and sup-

port your new Beaver court. Rachel and I can honestly say if you haven’t met them yet we encourage

you to do so. And always remember if you don’t support your Beaver someone else will!!!!

Mardi Gras was an awesome 2-day event for the Mayoki's. We partied so hard that even WEAR TV3 said they don't know how we do it! A shout out goes to Booker, Uncle Jager and Cousin Fireball for helping us put a "Mayoki Hurt" on some of our friends from Bow Legs on Saturday. So much so that they were still struggling on Sunday. I love that! The Beaver's came out in force to play with us both days. What a great group! If you haven't met them yet, you will soon. Hat's off to the Howerton's and Brown's for the excellent leadership of this new court. A huge thank you to the Beaver Liquor crew for all the help this weekend: Co-chairs, Toni and Patrick; Bar-tenders: Saturday, Cathy and Mitch, Mark and Gale, Kate and Nick and Shannon and Mike. Wow, the Year of the Beaver is off to a dam good start! The 2017 Court is proving to be as epic as their Mascot, Buster Beaver. The court cleaned up well (at least the top half) for Photo Party. Thank you to Holly and Steven Jurno-voy for hosting at their beautiful home. The surprise of the bus to the excitement of lame'...Color's Party! Thanks to Ty and Debbie for hosting at Cowen's Down Under and the Board for making it happen. Mardi Gras 2017 is now behind us and we hope that everyone had as much fun as we did! Thanks to all who volunteered to spot, and to those who came out to parade and PARTY WITH THE BEAVERS! Thank you for all that came out for our annual Bead Trip! I heard it was a great time (remind me to never drink gin again…. SHAKE THE BUS!) The Navarre Parade, as always, was a fantastic day! The weather cleared, and we all had a wonderful time. If you have never experienced this parade, it is a must for next year. Thank you for everyone’s help painting, dancing, and keeping us hydrat-ed. Mardi Gras was one for the books. The Beavers came out in full force and I really enjoyed getting to know them. Again, thank you for all that made the weekend a great time. Scheduling is in full plan mode! We will be having a sign-up party soon, so keep your eyes and ears open for the date and time. What a GREAT weekend! We hope you all are as excited as we are about getting to know the new Beaver Court! They are a wonderful group of new faces, and we are beyond thrilled to see them in their new colors and face paint. A giant thank-you to their Royalty – they are doing an excellent job of bringing the Baby Beavers up to speed and keeping them pumped up for each event. We can’t wait to see what they do next! Mardi Gras weekend is a great weekend, especially to a Mayoki. We were sorry we missed it this year but from the pictures it looked like it was a DAM good time. We had a great time meeting the Court at Colors and now that the little kid is getting chunky we are ready to get back at it and party with the Tribe!!! As we get into the thick of things, remember to use discretion in posting to social media. We want to make sure to preserve the Mayoki traditions and secrets for future courts.
