The globalization of India has given rise to new opportunities but it has also brought with it new challenges and responsibilities. It means that the global economy can no longer be viewed from a spectator’s standpoint. What happens there has large implications for India. Every time there is a major financial crisis anywhere in the world, there is a need for us to brace our position and, in turn, the rise and fall of India’s growth rate has an impact on global growth and there is need for India to take this responsibility seriously.
This seminar is conceptualized to portray the resilience and sustainability of Indian economy towards global economic fluctuations. It will highlight the ability of Indian economy to stand firm against the various global crisis that confront it. There are various important factors that affect the rise and fall of Indian economy: importance of MSME funding, currency wars among nations, role of microfinance as source of economic growth, focus on skills generation & Vision 2020 of India and need of technological up-gradation to achieve the same.
Through this seminar, various concerns with respect to the effect of global crisis in Indian economy, need of agile monetary policy, economic issues, trade deficit issues, flow of investments and skill management decisions shall be raised and it would hopefully arrive at a prudent and reasonable conclusion which policy makers could use as a guiding principle for planning and decision making.
