• Firstly, we conducted an online survey to ask a range of audiences a few questions about horror, to see what a prime audience would be for us to aim our film at.

• From this data, we established that we should aim our film at a target age range of 15-20 year olds, because they watch horror the most frequently.

• We should also aim at males and females, but predominantly males.

• Next we asked thirty students from our age range to fill in a questionnaire asking some specific questions to help us tailor our product to our audience.

• From collecting this data, we now know that we want our opening credits to be incorporated into our shots, include lots of suspense and shock, without much graphic violence.
