Huroof-e- Muqata’at. Qata’a is cut. So Huroof-e-Muqata’at

means the isolated letters. In writing they are joined but

they are read separately. The actual meaning of these letters

is only known to Allah.

Those who believe. The root letters are ن أمwhich means who believe, who have faith, they have peace. To have peace means to have no fear.

’stands for ‘for ل is those who safeguard themselves. Those who adopt Taqwa.What is Taqwa? The root is ي ق meaning to ,وsafeguard self to be careful, to be cautious, to have Taqwa. To have Taqwa means to fear Allah.

With the unseen. .means with ب is something that is hidden. It something that ones’ five senses cannot perceive.

AND

They establish. It comes from the word which means to straighten (Iqama) إقامةout. So this does not imply only doing the daily prayers but performing them correctly in all possible ways with all the prescribed conditions: 1. Regularity2. Punctuality3. Inward concentration4. Humility 5. Awe

It means the salah or prayer. The root word is ص و which لmeans to incline however if the root words are ص it يلmeans to burn as in burning the sins.

From what1. which means from مم2. which means what ما

We gave them sustenance. The root word is رزق. has three parts to it:1. .meaning sustenance رزق2. meaning we ن3. meaning they هم

They spend. The root word is قفنفق. is tunnel. A tunnel with 2 ن

openings. So when you put something inside it, it doesn’t stay inside. It comes out. means they spend. From the sustenance that is given to them they spend from it. They don’t keep any of it.

Those whoRepitition. It means they believe.

With what

The root is زل which means نsent down, revealed.

Towards you. which means إلى.1towards..means you ك.2

WHAT

It is being repeated. It means sent down or revealed.

FromIt means before you.1. meaning قبل

means with ب -1 means the اآلخرة -2hereafter. means the last, something that will come at the end.

They believe with certainty. The root words are ي ق which means clear نand proven. The thing that makes the heart, the intention, the intellect subservient. is the last يقين .is the first degree إيمانdegree. And the amount of عمل (work) in both of them is the same.

Those who attain success. It is the plural of ف The root word is .مفلح ح which means لto cut or tear. فلح means success. And فالح means farmer. A farmer cuts and digs the earth. The one who cuts or tears is a فالح. And فلح means complete success. It means Dunyah and Akhira success. The one who attains success in Dunyah and Akhira is a .مفلح
