TECaN Mission

Membership Eligibility• Members of the AAP ($93 P-RT Member dues)

Who are trainees in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine Or Early Career Neonatologists within 7 years of

completing their fellowship training

Structure

• 10 District Representatives (2 year term)• Selected by Section on Perinatal Pediatrics District

Representative• Chair (2 year term)• Also serves as representative to Perinatal Section

Executive Committee• Immediate Past Chair (2 year term)• Liaison to Spring Workshop Planning Group, etc.

• 2 Subcommittee ChairsMembership/LeadershipSocial Media/Communications

• ONTPD Representative (1 year term)Represents fellows at meetings of the ONTPD and

serves as liaison for TECaN

• Secretary-Treasurer (1 year term)Responsible for TECaN minutes, budget, and

contact lists

• Liaison positions for SOMSRFT and SOYP

Program Representative

• Roles: Fellow (with interest in leadership) Conduit for information and networking between Maintain an active email list of the fellows

• Time Commitment: Minimal (will not interfere with clinical or

research goals)
