protect his brother due to he knows that Troy and Greece are already at war, and there is no turning back

His strength is his fighting ability, loyalty, and honor

Moral Constitution

He knows what his brother has done is wrong but he will not feed him to the wolves. He realizes what will happen to Troy if he falls and is doing everything he can to protect his family and kingdom.

Protagonist

His role in this story is to bring honor and justice. He is the true definition of a man and a warrior.

History and Background Hector is the prince of Troy and son to king

Priam, famed king of Troy and he has a younger brother named Paris. He is married to Andromache and they together have a son named Astyanax.

Hector has not changed as a person during the war of Troy. He stay true to what he believes in. Hector is different from all the other characters due to he is an honorable man that fights for his country. He is not a coward of a liar, he can be depended on. Hector is similar to Achilles due to they are both strong fighters.

Hector is a character that brings honor and integrity to the story. He is the representation of a true leader and a true man.
