Project Descr ipt ion
Watching foreign movies is a fun way to learn about target language’s culture. Movies provide a lot of meaningful context and language input, and they help learners understand the use of the language. This project focuses on using a Mandarin movie to immerse students in modern Chinese world and create a social platform to interact with Chinese students.
Phi losophy
★ The objectives of this project were based on ACTFL world readiness standards.
★ Students have a list of basic vocabulary and essential questions from the movie.
★ English subtitles helps students understand the main plot.
