daunting achievement ofleading normal lives inexceptional circumstances. The exhibition includes hands-on activities that will allowvisitors to type their ownBraille, and read a newspaperthrough specially made sightloss glasses.

Drop in to the DiscoveryCentre and get up close andpersonal with a rare survivorfrom the First World War; a ‘J’type Thornycroft lorry firstdelivered to the War Office on28 March 1916. Members of the Great WarSociety will be on hand with aLiving History display, sharingtheir knowledge of the period. On the day, children can maketheir own First World Warpostcard to take away at ourfree drop-in activity, allmaterials provided. Age 6+. Parentalsupervision is requiredat this event.
