Founded in 1948 as a small agricultural equipment retailer, Valley Truck and Tractor Company was initially an International Harvester dealership. The company's original owners, George Willard Miller, George Willard Miller, Jr., and Henry Miller, Sr., strived to respond to the rapidly expanding needs of the agriculture industry. With the aid of its 16 employees, the corporation was able to achieve its ambitious goals and earn a first year gross sales of $450,000. Today, almost 60 years after first entering the business world. Valley Truck and Tractor has matured into a distinguished agricultural, commercial, and consumer products business. In i960, the company outgrew its original Marysville location and moved its headquarters to its present day location in Yuba City. Here, it maintained its performance as an International Harvester Dealership for another 25 years. In addition to its Yuba City and Robbins locations, it now encompasses stores in the California cities of Woodland, Dixon, and Elk Grove.
