Installing the BatteriesYour One For All ® 1 Device needstwo (2) new AAA alkaline batteries.To install the batteries:

1 Device , unscrewand push down onthe tab and lift thecover off.

POWER4 Test the unit bypressing POWER.The red lightshould blink.

Even if your batteries die, the One ForAll® 1 Device built in memory back-upwill save your programmed setupcodes. The One For All® 1 Device willalso retain the memory for another 10minutes once you have removed thebatteries to replace them.

Press the batterycover back intoplace and replacethe screw.

Match thebatteries to the +and - marks insidethe battery case,then insert thebatteries.

2 Press and hold SETUP until the One For All® 1 Device's red lightblinks twice. Release SETUP.

3 Using the exampleshown on the right,enter the first four-digitcode you wrote down.(See "Looking Up YourTV Code".) If you putin the code correctly,the red light will blinktwice.

Aim the One For All® 1 Device at your TV and press POWER.Your TV should turn off. If it doesn't, repeat Steps 2-4, tryingeach code listed for your brand until you find the one that operatesyour TV.

Troubleshooting

If you cannot get the One For All ® 1 Device

to operate your TV:

■ Try all of the codes listed for the brandof your TV in the Set-Up Codes section.

■ If your TV responds to some of thecommands but causes the wrongresults, try all of the codes listed foryour brand. Many TV's use similarremote control codes.

■ Make sure you are within 15 feet ofyour TV when using your remotecontrol.

■ If the red light on your remote controldoes not blink when you press a key onyour remote control, replace thebatteries with two (2) new AAAalkaline batteries. Be sure you matchthe batteries to the plus (+) and minus(-) marks inside the battery case.
