DearUnity Family,It’s Spring! A time

of renewal as weprepare to plant theseeds for our future.

As I write this I amlooking out at yet an-other snow fall. Afterthe years of droughtthat affected our area,to see the earth so

richly blessed, I know that we will have a bounti-ful spring time ahead of us.I have talked to so many in our church aboutplanting gardens. It reminds me of this parable ofJesus:“With what can we compare the kingdom ofGod?..It is like a mustard seed, which sown uponthe ground, is the smallest of seeds on the earth,yet when it grows up..it puts forth branches, sothat the birds of the air can make nests in itsshade.” (Mark 4:31-32)I love this passage in Mark for Jesus puts forth ahumorous parable. Mustard plants are small weedsor shrubs. How can birds make nests in the shadeof a shrub? How does that compare with God’skingdom?How easy it is to under estimate the power of God.When we are ready to receive the guidance andwisdom of God, even the smallest seed we plantcan become a mighty work. It is our job to becomereceptive to this wisdom and guidance, to prepareourselves as we prepare the earth for planting,through our understanding of the teachings of Jesus.Join us through the spring for our classes, ourEaster Celebrations and all our activities for pre-paring ourselves to receive the blessings of a boun-tiful spring as we reach for the sky at Unity ofGainesville.

Our Sunday message is “The Heart of Being Unity”. Presented in a casualand non-traditional way over breakfast, this is the time to get to know peopleas both our first and second services combine for a time of togetherness andcasual worship.

We are organizing teams of people, from both services to help put out thewelcome mat. Beginning with two Spring Cleanings, March 27th and April17th, 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM then followed by our Breakfast Team to bringcasseroles and other breakfast goodies that day, let’s put our best foot forwardas we open our church to friends and family.
