7. Add a new stateside mission.

8. Strengthen our local outreach program by starting a database of area visitors and starting regular communications to them.

In the Spotlight

We welcome David and Amber Milner (FHU staff box 191, Hender-son; 903-217-2877, 903-268-8509) to our Estes family. Amber is the Residence Hall Supervisor at FHU’s Sewell Hall. David is retired but helps Amber in the dorm. The Milners are former social workers who lived primarily in Texas; they worked with a children’s home with at-risk children and single mothers with children. They have two grown, married children and one precious granddaugh-ter who all live in the Dallas area. They both love to read, shop at thrift stores, and visit with family and friends. David also collects toy John Deere tractors.

The visits, flowers, food, and love shown to us will always be cherished. We appreciate all of this so much but most of all your love and friendship. May God bless you for remembering our family in such a caring way. --Jo Ellis

The love and support that we have felt from our Estes family has been immeasurable during the loss of my dad, Mickey Ellis. Thank you all for the prayers, visits, and cards. And a special thank you to those who prepared food, served, and offered words of comfort at the funeral meal. We are richly blessed. Love, Rex and Denise Phillips

As many of you already know, Jesse Robertson has accepted a position as an Associate Professor of Bible at Harding University, beginning this fall. The elders want to express our appreciation to Jesse and Kayla for their many years of service to the Estes church. Jesse will continue to serve as one of our pulpit ministers in the interim between now and the Robertsons’ move to Searcy. The elders wanted to make the congregation aware of the Robertsons’ plans and also to let you know that we will shortly begin the search for someone to fill Jesse’s place in the pulpit. Again, we want to thank Jesse and Kayla for the many ways they have served the Estes church. We love them and we pray God’s blessings on them in the future.

Sympathy to Mildred Beard and Royce Hunter on the death of Nila Hunter. The funeral will be 11:00 am Friday at Casey Chapel. Sympathy to John McLaughlin, Beth Sanford, and their families on the death of their aunt, Miss Jimmie Nell Williams. A grave-

side service will be Friday in Woodville, AL. Sympathy to Phyllis Lackey on the death of her aunt, Barbara Hemby. Sympathy to FHU alum Alan Fisher on the death of his father.

All Estes members (espe-cially new members - those who placed membership or were baptized in 2015 and early 2016) are invited to a

fellowship after evening worship on Sunday, March 6. All members (except the new members - you are the guests!), bring potluck dishes. Please join us for this time of fellowship.
