Vedic Astrology is undoubtedly the oldest and most comprehensive faith of astrology among all such

faiths practiced across the globe, and whereas some of these faiths have the depth and volume of a stream, some of a river, Vedic Astrology is the Ocean which can provide resources to all these faiths and which can validate or invalidate any one of these faiths. I have studied and researched many such faiths like Numerology, Vaastu etc. but none of them holds their ground without the support of Vedic Astrology and it is the faith which is the backbone or motherboard of all such faiths. This is what inspired me to make a carrier choice with the Ocean itself and now after years and years of this voyage; I can happily say that I made the right choice, many years back.

The fact that Vedic Astrology is the oldest among such faiths, also exposes it and makes it vulnerable to many types of corruptions and adulterations from time to time which may have come in the form of selfish additions in some of the purest Vedic Astrology scriptures or which may have resulted from misinterpretations of many important concepts of Vedic Astrology, from time to time. It is only due to such adulterations, corruptions and misinterpretations, that Vedic Astrology does not look as complete and accurate as it actually is, to many people interested in it, in this day and age.

With the Grace of Lord Shiva, I have spent years in researching various concepts of Vedic Astrology and in finding where and how much, such concepts may have

been misinterpreted and what could be the possible correct interpretation of these divine concepts. And whereas in their misinterpreted forms, most such concepts of Vedic Astrology do not hold ground in real practice of astrology, almost all of them hold solid ground in their modified forms. I have found out this fact after years of intensive research on these topics and after cross checking them with thousands of horoscopes so that they should hold ground when it comes to real life and real horoscopes instead of just reflecting on paper, and after all this effort, I can say that now they do hold ground in their modified forms.

Hence this book should be understood as an effort to create such awareness among the lovers of Vedic Astrology that this faith itself is still as complete as it was when it was born, but various misinterpretations from time to time, may have caused confusions related to many important concepts of this faith. Through this book, I have tried to create awareness about the true nature of three of the most important as well as the most feared concepts of Vedic Astrology which are called Pitra Dosh, Kaal Sarp Dosh and Manglik Dosh. They are feared so much that a common man interested in astrology, sees them as monsters and that is why this book has been named Three Monsters of Vedic Astrology.

This book has three sections and each one of these three sections deals with one of these seemingly monstrous concepts of Vedic Astrology. I have tried to deal with each one of these three concepts in great details and hence all of them have been explained properly in their true form and at the same time, all the other relevant things related to them have also been explained well. For example, Pitra Dosh sections deals with the true understanding of Pitra Dosh, how this Dosh is formed in a horoscope, what can

be its impact in various houses of a horoscope, how all 9 planets can form different types of Pitra Dosh and what are the remedies to reduce the damage done by this defect when present in a horoscope. A similar approach has been taken in case of Kaal Sarp Dosh and Manglik Dosh and they have also been explained in great details along with their effective remedies.

The highlight of this book is that each one of the three sections starts with the misinterpreted definition of the concept and then it analyzes those misinterpretations with the help of practical life examples as well as with the help of scientific logic and then we move to the practical, working and proper understanding of the concept. For example, in case of Pitra Dosh, it is said that Pitra Dosh is the curse of the ancestors which means that the ancestors of a person having this defect in his horoscope, are cursing him due to which, he is facing various types of problems in his life. After that the research and investigation starts and in the end we are able to find this practical and correct definition of Pitra Dosh which says that, Pitra Dosh is not the curse of the ancestors as defined by some astrologers, but it is the debt formed as a result of bad deeds done by the ancestors and this debt has to be paid by the present generation either by taking the punishment decided according to that debt or by doing some specific good Karmic deeds which will help paying this debt so that the degree of punishment may be decreased.

Similar type of approach has been taken in case of Kaal Sarp Dosh as well as in case of Manglik Dosh and once the correct definitions of these defects have been established, we start dealing with the details like their different types and impacts in different horoscopes and how they can

trouble various people on many levels and in many spheres of their lives depending on the type and strength of these defects. After this, some remedies for reducing the damage done by these defects, have been discussed which make each section, a complete one.

In order to make the most of this book, it is strongly recommended that each section when started, should be read from the start till the end. Reading in between a section may result in improper understanding of the concept. With this piece of advice, I now take your permission to lead you to the book.

Pitras and Pitra Dosh

Pitra Dosh

This is one of the most important concepts of Indian astrology and it is called Pitra Dosh which is generally

defined by many astrologers as the Curse of Ancestors meaning that the forefathers of the person having Pitra Dosh in his horoscope are unhappy with him and therefore they are cursing the native and due to that curse the native may suffer from debt, diseases, failures all around, being childless and in the worst cases, early death due to accidents or serious diseases. In case of Pitra Dosh, the misconception starts right from its definition which states that it is the curse of Ancestors. A Pitra Dosh is not a curse of the Ancestors for sure and here is how. The horoscope of a person is drawn and decided right at the time of his birth and accordingly any kind of defects are decided at the time of his birth which includes defects like Kaal Sarp Dosh, Manglik Dosh and Pitra Dosh among other defects.

Coming to the defect called Pitra Dosh, if the defect is decided at the birth of a person, then what has this person done in this birth to get cursed by the ancestors. I mean if a person grows older and does some bad Karmas or Bad deeds which may bring disgrace to the good and fair name of Ancestors, then it may be considered that the Ancestors are cursing that person. But why curse a person before his birth? And for the people reading this article who may have an opinion that the person may have done some bad Karmas or bad deeds in the past lives and that is why he has got Pitra Dosh in his horoscope, let me tell you that in most cases, a person born in a family line is none other

than one of his own Ancestors. For example a person born in a family line is usually one of the forefathers of that family who has reborn in that family again. According to the theory of Karmic astrology, most people are born in the same family lines with same friends and same enemies in so many of their lives until their Karmic debts, duties and rewards are all cleared from that particular group of people or we can call them particular group of Souls. Coming back to the point, what actually is this Pitra Dosh if it is not a curse of the Ancestors? Let’s look into the matter and find out what is Pitra Dosh.

A Pitra Dosh is not a curse of the Ancestors, but it is a Karmic Debt of the ancestors which the person having Pitra Dosh in his horoscope is supposed to pay. In simple words a Pitra Dosh is formed in the horoscope of a person due to bad Karmas or bad deeds done by the Ancestors of that person and this person is supposed to pay that Karmic debt by suffering the punishments decided for those debts in different spheres of his life until the debt is cleared either by punishment or by the good deeds done by the person having this Pitra Dosh in his horoscope. So a Pitra Dosh in a horoscope does not mean that the ancestors are cursing the person having Pitra Dosh in his horoscope, but it means that the Ancestors of such a person are themselves cursed. This theory may sound confusing to some people, so let’s try to explain it on the basis of scientific as well as Karmic logics.
