NEW YEAR’S OFFICE HOURS

The Rectory will be open from 9am - 5pm on Monday,

December 31st, and CLOSED on Tuesday, January 1st, for the

New Year. The Office will re-open on Wednesday, January

2nd with regular office hours.

not only generous to the parish at Christmas, but also were so

Christmas. We are so blessed to serve as priests in such a

SECOND COLLECTION

Today's Second Collection is for the ongoing "Repair and

Renovation" of our Church Buildings. The "R & R"

Collections will be helping us to pay for the Renovation of

the Pope Francis Center. We ask all parishioners to be as

generous as possible and thank everyone for their sacrifices

and generous support!

FIRST FRIDAY HOLY HOUR

This Friday, January 4th is the first Friday of

the month. Exposition of the Blessed

Sacrament will take place after the 9am

Mass and again at 7pm. The Spanish Mass

will begin at 8:00pm.

THANK YOU FOR THE AGUINALDO MASSES

We thank all those who participated in and attended the

early morning Aguinaldo Masses. In particular, we thank all

the parish groups that provided breakfast each morning after

Mass. As the number of people attending the Masses

continued to increase, somehow there was always enough

food!!

THANK YOU FROM CENTER FOR FAMILY LIFE

Thanks to those who were able to donate toys to the

children of CFL during this 2018 Christmas Gift Giving!

Through your kindness, you provided a smile to those who

would’ve gone without during this gift-giving season. May

ALTAGRACIA MASS

On Saturday, January 19, 2019 St. Michael’s will celebrate

a Mass in Honor of Our Lady of Altagracia at 7:30pm.

There will be a reception after the Mass in the school

auditorium. All are invited!

ADULT SACRAMENTS

Any adult who has received Baptism and Holy Communion

but has not received Confirmation may register at the

Rectory for preparation classes to receive the Sacrament of

Confirmation this Spring. You will need to bring your Birth

and Baptism Certificates. Also, those who have not yet

received First Holy Communion may register for these

classes. Classes will begin in February.

CHURCHES UNITED FOR FAIR HOUSING (CUFFH)

Churches United for Faith Housing is available to walk you

through the NYC affordable housing lotteries. Representatives are

available in the Pope Francis Parish Center EVERY THURSDAY

PUBLIC HEATH SOLUTIONS - WIC PROGRAM

GRACIAS POR LAS MISAS DE AGUINALDO

Agradecemos a todos los que participaron y asistieron en las

madrugadas para las Misas de Aguinaldo. En particular,

agradecemos a todos los grupos parroquiales que ofrecieron

el desayuno cada mañana después de la misa. A medida que

el número de personas que asistían a las misas continuaba

aumentando, de alguna manera siempre había suficiente

comida.

GRACIAS DEL CENTRO POR LA VIDA FAMILIAR

MISA DE ALTAGRACIA

El sábado 19 de enero de 2019, San Miguel celebrará una

misa en honor a la Virgen de la Altagracia a las 7:30 pm.

Habrá una recepción después de la misa en el auditorio de la

escuela. ¡Todos están invitados!

SACRAMENTOS ADULTOS

Cualquier adulto que haya recibido el Bautismo y la Sagrada

Comunión, pero que no haya recibido la Confirmación,

puede registrarse en la Rectoría para las clases de

preparación para recibir el Sacramento de la Confirmación

esta primavera. Tendrá que traer sus certificados de

nacimiento y bautismo. Además, aquellos que aún no han

recibido la Primera Comunión pueden inscribirse en estas

clases. Las clases comenzarán en febrero.

Interesado en viviendas asequibles? Churches United for Fair

Housing lo guiará por las loterías de viviendas asequibles de la
