ID NYC in Pope Francis Center The "ID NYC" municipal identification program has opened

a new "Enrollment Center" at our parish in the Pope Francis

Center (345 43rd Street). ALL New York City Residents 10

years and older who reside in NYC's 5 Boroughs are

eligible for the ID, regardless of immigration status. Flyers

are available in Church with more information. You can

visit their website:www.nyc.gov/idnyc or Call: 311 for more

information about the application process, benefits, and/or

to make an appointment. Appointments are encouraged, but

walk-ins are welcome.

SECOND COLLECTION Today's Second Collection is for the ongoing "Repair and

Renovation" of our Church Buildings. The "R & R"

Collections will be helping us to pay for the Renovation of

the Pope Francis Center. We ask all parishioners to be as

generous as possible and thank everyone for their

sacrifices and generous support!

RELIGIOUS EDUCATION NEWS! Parent Reminder Meeting!!

There will be a meeting for the parents of the children

who have not been baptized on Saturday November

9th, 2019 at 10:30am in the Church

FIRST FRIDAY HOLY HOUR This Friday, November 1st is the first

Friday of the month. Exposition of the

Blessed Sacrament will take place after the

9am Mass and again at 7pm.

The Spanish Mass will begin at 8:00pm.

10:30AM All Souls Bilingual Mass ALL SOULS DAY - NOVENA OF MASSES We will have a special All Souls Day Novena of

Masses, beginning on All Souls Day (November 2nd)

and continuing for nine days. Each day a Mass

intention will be offered for all our deceased loved

ones whose names have been submitted. There are

All Souls Novena envelopes available in Church and

at the Rectory Office. You can include up to 10

names of deceased family and loved ones on each

envelope. You can return the envelopes in the

collection or drop them at the Rectory Office.

ALL SOULS MASS SATURDAY,

NOVEMBER 2nd

Each year we celebrate a Mass during which we pray

for all of our parishioners who have passed away,

especially during the past year. This year, we will

celebrate a special ALL SOULS MASS on Saturday,

November 2nd at 10:30am. The Mass will be

Bi-Lingual and during the Mass we will read the

names of all our parishioners who have passed since

November 2018. If someone in your family has

passed away during this past year and you would like

to have their name read at the Mass, please visit or

call the Rectory Office (718-768-6065) to submit

their name.

DON’T BE LATE FOR MASS NEXT SUNDAY!

Next weekend Daylight Savings Time ends and as we “Fall

Back”, don’t forget to turn your clocks back one hour on

Sunday morning!

It is also “Marathon Sunday” and as thousands pass by the

Church while running on Fourth Avenue, please

remember that this may affect your commute to Church as you have to head to

the nearest subway station

(36th Street or 45th Street) to

cross under 4th Avenue.

THANK YOU, Mr. Harris!! After more than ten (10) years of service as our Music

and Choir Director here at St. Michael's - and forty-five

(45) years of service in our Diocese, Mr. Lawrence

Harris has decided to retire. We are very grateful to Mr.

Harris for all of his hard work and dedication as he led

us in prayer, song and has helped to make our Sunday

Masses and so many Holy Days, Feast Days and

"special" Masses (Christmas Shows and Concerts) so

beautiful and prayerful. We thank him in a particular

way for his work with our Adult Spanish Choir, the

Children's Choir, the "CCJ" Youth Music Ministry and

the Faith Formation Program. We also thank Mr.

Harris' wife, Doris, and his children and family for

allowing him to be with us on so many weekends and

Holidays!!

We pray for Mr. Harris and his family as he enters this

new chapter and we hope that he will be back to visit

us often. We are in the process of choosing a date when

we can say Farewell to Mr. Harris so that parishioners

will be able to personally say Thank You and wish him

well.

UNUSED GIFTS Our Annual Christmas Sale will be in the chapel on

Sunday, December 8 from 8:00am-2:00pm. If you would

like to donate any unused gifts such as: toys, clothing,

accessories, perfumes, colognes and household items, you

can drop them off at the Rectory addressed to Ibette.

día se ofrecerá una intención de misa para todos

nuestros seres queridos fallecidos, cuyos nombres han

sido enviados. Hay sobres de Novena para el Día De

Los Difuntos disponibles en la Iglesia y en la Oficina

de la Rectoría. Puede incluir hasta 10 nombres de

familiares y seres queridos fallecidos en cada sobre.

Puede devolver los sobres en la colecta o entregarlos

en la Oficina de la Rectoría.

MISA ESPECIAL PARA LOS FIELES DIFUNTOS

Cada año celebramos una misa durante la cual

oramos por todos los feligreses que han fallecido,

especialmente durante el año pasado. Este año,

celebraremos una MISA PARA TODAS LAS ALMAS

el sábado 2 de noviembre a las 10:30 am. La misa será

bilingüe y durante la misa leeremos los nombres de

todos nuestros feligreses que han fallecido desde

noviembre de 2018. Si desea agregar un nombre visite

¡EL DOMINGO PRÓXIMO! El próximo fin de semana, el horario de verano finaliza y, al

“retroceder”, ¡no olvide hacer retroceder sus relojes una hora el

domingo por la mañana!

También es el "domingo del maratón" y miles de personas

pasan frente a la Iglesia durante el Maraton en la Cuarta

Avenida, recuerde que esto puede afectar su viaje a

la Iglesia, y a que debe dirigirse a la

estación de metro más cercana (calle 36

o 45) para cruzar 4ta avenida.

GRACIAS, al Señor Harris!!

Después de más de diez (10) años de servicio como

nuestro Director de Música y Coro aquí en San Miguel,

y cuarenta y cinco (45) años de servicio en nuestra

Diócesis, el Sr. Lawrence Harris ha decidido retirarse.

Estamos muy agradecidos con el Sr. Harris por su

arduo trabajo y dedicación, ya que nos guió en oración,

canciones y ha ayudado a hacer nuestras misas

dominicales y tantos días santos, días festivos y misas

"especiales" (espectáculos y conciertos navideños) tan

hermosos. Le agradecemos de manera particular por su

trabajo con nuestro Coro de Adultos en Español, el

Coro de Niños, el Ministerio de Música Juvenil "CCJ"

y el Programa de Formación de Fe. ¡También

agradecemos a la esposa del Sr. Harris, Doris, y sus

hijos y familia por permitirle estar con nosotros

durante tantos fines de semana y días festivos!

Oramos por el Sr. Harris y su familia al empezar este

nuevo capítulo y esperamos que vuelva a visitarnos a

menudo. Estamos en el proceso de elegir una fecha en

la que podamos despedirnos del Sr. Harris para que los

feligreses puedan decirle personalmente gracias y

desearle lo mejor.

REGALOS NO UTILIZADOS Nuestra venta anual de Navidad será en la capilla el

domingo 8 de diciembre de 8:00 a.m. a 2:00 p.m. Si desea

ID NYC en el Centro Papa Francisco El programa de identificación municipal "ID NYC" ha abierto

un nuevo "Centro de inscripción" en nuestra parroquia en el
