“Why are people so noisy with their kneelers. Can you ask them to be more quiet with them?” I, too, have noticed that some folks are being careless when they put their kneeler up or down. I think some may feel the kneeler behind them that has been left up. As they kneel to pray they may kick it down behind them so their feet won’t be touching it. I have noticed that St. Mar- tha’s church is one of the noisiest churches I’ve been assigned to. I don’t mean the people I mean the building itself. The seats are very noisy and when you have a full church and everyone sits down or kneels at the same time there is quite a racket. Even the roof snaps and creaks from time to time and is It ever scary at night with no lights on!! There sure is a lot of noise. In fact, you may have even noticed that I don’t begin my homily or begin the prayers of consecration until everyone has set- tled down to sitting or kneeling. It’s just something of which we all need to be conscious. Pleas be mind- ful that we all need to take it easy with the wood- work! Fr. Green
