The subway is a physical place,attended often and every day bya lot of people, but it’s just a passage place and it belongs to a routine. So we want to make it more friendly,alive and fun creating a communityin which everyone can talk,read and comment news with other users.

IDEA

All the people who take the subwayand own a smartphone,expecially young men and womenbetween 20 and 45 years.

soMetro is a web sitebased on the social network Twitter and on QR codes.

Our project aimed to inform a littleabout the history of the subwayand at the same time to createa free connection between users.

In every station there will be lots of QR which you can scan to open the site.QR codes will be differentfrom one station to anotherbecause they will openspecific pages of soMetro.

Scrolling the page you’ll seesome posts of different users,tags and those people you’ll follow.

Just below there will besome information and photosabout the stationand its surroundings.

When you’ll take a photo of the QR code you’ll find at your subway stop it will open the site’s pagecalled with the name of the station, for example “Cadorna”.

The background colors will change with the subway line’s color:M1-red, M2-green, M3-yellow, and M5-purple.

Also colors of username will change with the line and the background thanks to the different QR code.

On the top of the page you’ll see the name “soMetro”and 4 buttons: M1, M2, M3, M5;if you’ll push one of themit will open a page with all stops of the Metro line, for example M3.

The homepage of “soMetro”is similar to other pageswith the 4 buttons,the metro map and some posts.

If you are not signed up on Twitter the site will show youthe login page and you can create your new account.

Every post will be controlledby a team of administratorswho prevent the publicationof offensive comments from users.

4. He begins to scan the QR code while waiting. 5. Loading... 6. Here it comes the page of Cadorna M2.
