Scope of Inspection:1. Inspection activity involves identification of Raw materials such as all the plates, forgings, with respect to the
drawings, specifications and it’s related testing in the event of no co relation. 2. Review and verify all the NDE and testing procedures required for manufacturing of the system.3. Review/Verification of Weld Maps, welding procedures (WPS, PQR, WPQR)4. Review and verify the qualification certificates of NDT and other Testing personnel.
5. To verify the markings/ cutting of various Po’s numbers with respect to the drawings.6. Review/witness fit ups and sub-assemblies of the two wheel bogies, 4 wheel bogies, 6 wheel bogies , portal and
slew decks .7. Inspection of final welding and review of post welding heat treatment records before final machining 8. Witness geometrical dimensions and on machine dimensions before assembly.9. Witnessing sub assemblies before proceeding to the final protocol.10. Coordination with end user during final protocol inspection of the system.11. Portal and slew deck Gear back lash inspection 12. Torque checking of the motor bolts which was attached to the long travel assembly. 13. To verify/witness surface preparation and coating (Primer, Intermediate, Final coats).14. To verify the preservation and stuffing during transportation.

To verify the preservation and stuffing.
Expediting: Pressure Vessels, Rotating Equipment’s, Control Valves, Structural, HVAC, and Static Equipments, Super Structures, Boiler structures, etc.
Scope of expediting: 1. Verification all the reference documents like PO, ITP, Drawings, and Project Specifications.2. Ensure all the required manufacture and test procedures/code & standards are available with respect to the
reference documents. 3. Verification of Material with respect to the drawings/ BOM.4. Non available materials follow up with vendor/sub vendor and same will ensure the availability for assembly
whenever required.5. The manufacturing schedules will be prepared with the help of manufacturing team and ensure meeting the
schedule.6. Day to day surveillance will be done and the status will be verified with respect to the manufacturing schedules.
If schedules are not meeting, the same will be discussed with manufacturing team and ensure to finish the with next day schedules.
7. To ensure and complete the items as per the PO delivery dates.
Over all Job Profile:1. Conversant with various types of welding process like SMAW, GTAW, SAW,GMAW & FCAW
2. Familiar with NDT methods like UT, RT, MT PT and VT
3. Preparation and review of WPS, PQR, WPQ’s, QAP/ITP.
4. Witnessing the procedure qualification, welder qualification test coupons and witnessed the
lab test as per the code/standards requirements.
5. Review/ Preparation of weld Map, Weld Logs with respect to the job requirements/project requirements.
6. Verification of Iso-metric drawings with respect to the P&ID
7. Verify the fabricated piping spools, pipe racks and its supports with respect to the Isometric drawings.
8. Test packs to be prepared/verified with respect to the P&ID/Project specification.
9. Witnessing of pressure test (Hydro/Pneumatic and commodity Test) according to piping class, their test limit and
required pressure as per codes/standards/project procedures
10. Inspection of Boiler main structures like columns, girders, beams, truss, bracings and BMH structures like trestles, stringers, hopers, etc.
11. Inspection of pressure vessels like L P, HP heaters, Surface condensers, Reactors (GLR’S), De Aerators of Both MS/SS.
12. Conversant with post heat treatment process.13. Involvement in planning activities such as bar charts, activity reports, process sequence

Pulverizes, longitudinal guide assemblies, Flexible shafts, Roller press assemblies, Rotary air lock valves, screw
conveyors, Vibratory feeders and belt feeders. Inspection of pipe Fittings, bends (long radius and short radius)
Casting Gr 5, Gr 7 & 9, Casting for Pumps, Bearing casing& brackets.
15. Cladding plates Inspection including UT testing as per codes/standards/project specifications
16. Witnessing PMI (Positive Material Identification) of various materials.
17. Inspection of spring hangers, Belt conveyor components such as Rollers, Belt feeders,
Pulleys& ESP components.

19. Inspection of heavy structural beams columns for petrochemical structural items
