The Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA) is the apex regulatory and promotional maritime agency in Nigeria. The Agency was created from the merger of the National Maritime Authority and the Joint Maritime Labour Industrial Council (former parastatals of the Federal Ministry of Transport) on the 1st of Aug. 2006.

The social highlight of Africa@Nor-Shipping will be the Africa Night on Thursday June 1. Organized as part of and parallel to the official Closing Party, this party feature the key speakers, specially invited guests and official delegates for Africa@Nor-Shipping.
