General First Aid InformationFirst Aid is open from 8 a.m. until the last tram has been emptied of guests.After hours procedurecall 911, describe injury and report incident to First Aid the next day.Only aspirin and anti-motion sickness tables are available for guests and employees.Personal must have Medical Records completely filled out and on file when you are processed for employment.Reporting InjuriesAll injured guest and associates should be seen by First Aid. Even minor injuries need to be reported. Following Safety Proceduresyou will be trained on use of equipment, guidelines for safe driving, and proper conduct. Reckless driving and horseplay are grounds for immediate dismissal.

Minor Accidents/Illness(If you have any doubt as to the seriousness of an injury to illness, call 911; otherwise follow this procedure.)Direct guest/associate to the First Aid station; take them personally if possible, after receiving permission from your supervisor.Do not administer First Aid.Notify your supervisor immediately whenever any incident occurs.Emergency Assistance

Emergencies(Accidents, illnesses, fires, or need of Police assistance are categorized as emergencies.)1. Call emergency phone numberExtension 9112. Stay with patient.DO NOT attempt to move the patientAVOID CONTACT with patients blood or other bodily fluids.4. Remain clam and try to keep other guests and associates calm in the immediate area.5. Make no statements regarding insurance, liability, or cause or nature of emergency to anyone. This info must be handled by and authorized individual

Safety Equipment

First Care KitsFirst Care Kits are located at all work stations and contain supplies needed for initial response to an injury.Each box contains personal Protective equipment to be used by any of the following:First Aid and Security Personnel responding to a callA companion who is with an injured guestAnyone assisting an injured guest

First Care KitsFirst Care Kits include a biohazard bag for solid garments that come into contact with blood or bodily fluids. Solid garments must be placed in the bag prior to turning into Wardrobe in order to properly alert our Wardrobe personnel.

First Care Kit Supplies to ensure proper protection against direct contact with bodily fluids and bodily wastes. Any associate who does come into direct contact with blood or bodily fluids MUST report the contact to First Aid immediately.

Sun ProtectionUse SPF #15 or higher sunscreen.Wear 100% UV protection sunglasses to protect your eyes.Your park discount applies to sun protection products.

FiresFire Extinguishers are located throughout the park in all building and near all rides. You will be trained in the proper handling of this equipment. Notify your supervisor whenever an extinguisher is used so it can be refilled or replaced.Removing fire extinguishers from their locations or using them for any purpose other than fires may result in immediate termination of employees.

Because fires are so dangerous, please watch these videos with your utmost attention.Your right to knowYou may come in contact, either directly or indirectly, with chemicals and other various materials. You should be familiar with your departments written hazard communications program, a list of chemicals and materials used in your area, and correct use of MSDS. Your supervisor is responsible for your training in the use of theses chemicals and materials and for an explanation of the Right-to-Know policy.
