    Services Section, Victim Services Section, Information ManagementServices and the Chaplain Services Section.

    Responsible for high level administrative and technical law enforcementwork i n s upport of t he pol icies of t he S heriff. These r esponsibilitiesinclude development of budgets, manpower allocation and supervision,and r epresenting t he S heriff i n t he c ommunity. The i ncumbentsupervises/commands law enf orcement members in the pursuit,apprehension and ar rest of l aw violators, and i mmediately t akes l awenforcement action, when necessary, to apprehend law violators.

    Instrumental in establishing current Command School, which bringsCommand and Supervisory personnel from the Orange County SheriffsOffice, Orange County Fire Rescue Division and Orange County PublicSchools together in scenario training on the management of large scaleincidents and the utilization of the Incident Command System.
