There has been further continued success of

the supply of RodasRam; the Nitrogen onlyactuated Mill Loading System supplied into theIndian Coal Fired Power Station Industry.

Since our earlier case study in 2010 CESCBudge Budge Power Station has now completelyconverted all 12 of their Babcock 10E Mills.

Additionally FTL Technology and Powertech Serviceshave introduced the RodasRamMill Loading Systeminto West Bengal Power Development CorporationLtd (WBPDCL) Stations at Kolaghat and Bakreswar.

Kolaghat is an 8.5-10 Mill System andBakreswar is the 10E-10 Mill type.

FTL Technology is also pleased to announce that theyhave been specified to supply for the renovation andmodernisation programme at WBPDCL Bandel for theconversion of their 6 8.5E-9 Type Mill Loading Systems.

Coal Fired Power Stations

The RodasRamMill Loading System is a directretrofit for all Babcock type E slow ring and ball millsand can be introduced with little or no modifications.

The system runs on Nitrogen, eradicating theneed for any hydraulic oil and the associated leakage.

The cylinders have run maintenance freefor over two years, resulting in the plant having24 hour Mill availability during this period.

FTL Technology are looking to further

develop applications for RodasRamin the Indian Coal Fired Power Industry.
